The first photo is the view from our home, in a little village on an island in a river. This is literally the view described in the poem, which I wrote to try and express one aspect of the deep love I feel for my partner, Meg, who does indeed have a delight for anything coloured gold. The second photo was from our mid-Winter trip around Iceland two years ago. Wonderful..... but cold!! :)
