The Temple Bar Pub - Meg’s sketch above
My words below:
“Moth-errr of God! Mo-ast embarassin’ thing…” - the words ring round walls stacked bricks leant over step step step step past kids clattered, calls cast - scattered like dice like stones like knuckle bones; gulls arcing above cries piercing piercing piercing and it's all just my hereness my hearness my nearness to this. Petunias petalled and populated, softening the street while somewhere, under those hanging baskets of explosive colour - a perfectly pleasant pub with tourists taking selfies selfies selfies selfies entirely lacking in any self ease.

Thankyou for restacking my Poetry, Geraldine! Dublin is a fascinating place to visit, to be sure…. I had not expected to like it, and instead fell in love.
Desperately seeking self-ease. I find it occasionally, then I seem to lose track of it again.
